Husqvarna's 2009 wearables line features new Fire Protective Pants (FR) with Nomex. These chainsaw protective pants can be worn all day during activities, just like regular pants.
• The protective chainsaw portion of the garment is encapsulated and sewn down on the inner side of the pant with Nomex thread
• Pad coverage is in the front with an extra 4" to the left of each leg as well as calf coverage from the back of the knee to the ankle
• The shell is Westex Ultrasoft with an interior lining covering the protective chainsaw pad made of Indura cloth
• The new Fire Protective Pants (FR) meet ASTM F1897 (2750 FPM) standards and NFPA-70E standards for electrical hazard risk Category 2
